Aircraft from Pakistan Delivers 89.6 Tons of Aid to Gaza via Egypt

The aid, provided by the government and people of Pakistan, is intended for the people of Gaza. The second chartered aircraft, loaded with 89.6 tons of humanitarian and medical aid, arrived at El-Arish International Airport in Egypt on Tuesday.

Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani represented the Pakistani government and its people as he personally saw off the special flight from Islamabad. The relief assistance has now been transferred to the Egyptian Red Crescent Society, which will oversee its onward delivery to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Gaza.

This delivery follows a previous shipment on October 19, 2023 when a special aircraft transported 81 tons of humanitarian and medical aid from Pakistan to El-Arish International Airport in Egypt.
