Nawaz Sharif’s Return: PML-N Unveils Recovery Plan at Minar-i-Pakistan

The Lahore district administration has granted permission to the PML-N to hold a gathering at Minar-i-Pakistan on October 21, welcoming their supreme leader, Nawaz Sharif. To build support for Nawaz Sharif’s homecoming, PML-N leaders, including Hamza Shehbaz and Malik Ahmed Khan, organized a party convention in Kasur.

Expressing his confidence in Pakistan’s progress and prosperity, Hamza Shehbaz believed that Nawaz Sharif’s return would reignite the nation’s journey. He anticipated that during his address at Minar-i-Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif would outline a roadmap to address the country’s economic challenges.

Hamza Shehbaz emphasized the crucial role of PML-N and its allies in preventing a financial disaster, highlighting that without an agreement with the IMF, Pakistan would have faced bankruptcy. He also criticized the PTI government for bringing the country to the brink of default and accused them of promoting a politics of hatred.

Malik Ahmed Khan underscored the significance of October 21, seeing it as the day when the nation would embark on a path towards glory and prosperity.

Simultaneously, the Lahore district administration imposed 39 conditions for the PML-N’s public gathering at Minar-i-Pakistan to ensure the safety of participants and the public. This gathering will also serve as a response to the PTI’s use of the venue to showcase their popularity.

In contrast, the PTI is waiting for approval for their proposed public rally at alternative venues after the denial of the Liberty Roundabout location. The ongoing crackdown on the PTI has created a challenging situation, with party leaders, workers, and supporters facing arrests, which could potentially disrupt their ability to attend the event if permission is granted.
